Remarkable offers you room to refine ideas, competitive startup seed funding, access to expert networks of coaches, mentors, co-design opportunities and a ready-made market.

20% of the world’s population live with disability

According to the UN, 1.5 billion people globally live with disabilities. Inclusively designed, technological innovation has tremendous potential to reduce barriers for this growing population and become a powerful driver of inclusion.

Over 1 billion people need assistive tech products, yet only 10% have access

High costs and a lack of awareness, availability, trained personnel, policy, and financing mean that 1 in 10 people that need assistive technology products can’t access them, according to the World Health Organisation.

Exclusion of people with disabilities represents up to $1.9trillion in missed GDP

The business case for disability inclusion is strong and growing. The missed contribution to global GDP of people with disability is a staggering $1.9 trillion according to the World Bank.

4% of businesses are focused on making offerings inclusive of disability

Despite the growing demand and business opportunity for inclusion, according to Return on Disability, only 4% of businesses are focused on making offerings inclusive of disability.

DESIGN-ATHON

Design-athon is a 4-week challenge that invites budding entrepreneurs to solve problems identified by our community using an inclusive design methodology.

LAUNCHER

Launcher is an 8-week program that supports early-stage entrepreneurs as they design their prototype or product and take it to market.

ACCELERATOR

The Accelerator is a 16-week program providing seed funding and support for tech startups positively impacting people with disability and driving inclusion.
