The Team

Pete is the Founder of Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s Tech Accelerator - Remarkable, whose mission is to harness tech and innovation for inclusion. Pete aims to create a positive global impact on disability inclusion and is a catalytic leader who creates sustainable social change. So far he has managed to create Australia’s first disability technology accelerator for startups developing technology that enable people with disability to overcome barriers they face each and every day. He has more 15 years experience in the disability sector across a range of roles. Peter started his career as a landscape architect and sees the potential for design and innovation to create positive systemic change.

Molly is a marketing executive, teacher, and disability advocate based in Boston. Her first foray into tech was serving as the Founder and CEO of BrightLoop, an EdTech platform that helped teachers individualize learning. She took the organization through a number of accelerators including Y Combinator and Mass Challenge. More recently she has served in senior-level marketing roles with one of the largest media organizations in education and for a health and wellness startup. Before she jumped into tech, she was an educator with a focus on supporting students with learning disabilities. In her free time, she has volunteered for 22 years at Camp Jabberwocky, an overnight camp for children and adults with disabilities on Martha’s Vineyard. She holds a Masters in Education from Harvard and a BA from Boston College.

Liza Maclean is an occupational therapist with over 25 years’ experience working in the health, disability, and injury management sectors. She has a background specialising in assistive technology and her role with Remarkable and Cerebral Palsy Alliance is focused on facilitating the engagement of startups and technology developers with CPA clients and clinicians to support the evaluation, acceleration and embedding of emerging technologies that have the potential to positively impact life for people with disability. Liza is also the Vice President of the Australian Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Association, the national peak body representing rehabilitation and assistive technology stakeholders and users in Australia

**Zara Fulton** leads investments in scalable solutions for people with cerebral palsy and other complex disabilities. Before joining Remarkable, she was Associate Director of Strategy at Genomatica, where she drove portfolio strategy for sustainable materials technologies, and a Principal Strategy Consultant at Norstella, advising pharmaceutical companies across the drug development lifecycle. Earlier in her career, she held scientific roles at Johnson & Johnson and The Scripps Research Institute, contributing to influenza and vaccine research. Zara has also helped shape national innovation policy through her work at the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science and Resources. She holds a PhD in Structural Biology and a Master of Public Policy, and brings a distinctly cross-sector perspective to venture capital—backing technologies shaped by lived experience and designed for impact.

Kate has been one of the loudest cheerleaders for Remarkable since the first year of the Accelerator Program. Over the years Kate has been a mentor and coach to many of the startups and delivered branding masterclasses. She has a background working in brand marketing and communications for some of the world's most iconic brands including British Airways and the Sydney Opera House. Kate is passionate about helping purpose-driven brands tell their story and make a bigger impact.

Kath is a digital transformation leader with over 20 years of experience across SaaS, consumer platforms, hardware and medtech including Westfield, Yahoo, News Corp, as well as startups. As a Chief Product & Technology Officer, she has built and scaled products used by millions, navigated complex regulatory environments, and deployed AI agents and workflow automations for enterprise clients. Kath founded loop+, a connected care company that raised venture capital and achieved regulatory approval and insurance reimbursement for the remote patient monitoring IOT device.
