Introducing

Possibility Neurotechnologies is dedicated to integrating brain-computer interface (BCI) technology into everyday life, enabling those with significant physical disabilities to interact and communicate using the power of their minds.

The Problem

Assistive technology (AT) is not made equal for all end-users. Persons living with significant complex physical and communication needs may find they cannot effectively and reliably use existing AT solutions for their activities of daily living. These individuals could benefit from using brain-computer interface (BCI) technology for entertainment, play, rehabilitation, communication, mobility, or other activities of daily living. However, BCIs and their applications are not yet readily available for end-users because the middleware enabling control of these external devices has been confined to research environments. This gap in technology presents an opportunity to extend BCI adoption to the end-user community who already have activities they would like to be able to achieve but are unable to existing AT.

The Solution

Our proprietary technology, the Think2Switch™, fills this gap in providing a user-friendly, plug and play interface between BCIs and the devices that they can control. The Think2Switch™ software and hardware translates the signals generated by an over-the-counter BCI headset to commands to control real world applications, such as toys and games. Children think an action and it happens. Our proposed product offering is called the CARECrate™: an all-in-one starter pack that includes everything you would need to utilize a BCI in your own home. This includes an off-the-shelf BCI headset, a Think2Switch™ interface and an application in line with the user's interests or goals.
