Joining an accelerator can unlock new momentum for your startup. It’s a chance to gain mentorship, refine your business model, and truly accelerate your impact.

The Remarkable Accelerator supports Disability Tech startups using technology to transform advancements  in the fields of disability, health, and ageing. Through our 16 week program, we provide the training, funding, and networks needed to shape a future for people with disability that is accessible, equitable, and inclusive.

For startups that have built a product, started generating revenue, and are ready to scale, our Remarkable Accelerator provides the boost to take things to the next level. We encourage earlier stage MedTech hardware products to apply too, given their longer path to market.

Startup Readiness Checklist

This checklist will help you understand if now’s the right time to apply to the Remarkable Accelerator. You don’t need to tick every single box—but the more aligned you are, the better we can support you.

1. Are you building Disability Tech for impact?

We work with startups creating technology that improves the lives of people with disability.

This includes startups:

• Building solutions directly supporting people with disability
• Innovating in the spaces of disability, health, or ageing
• Technology that promotes access, inclusion, or independence

2. Is your startup at post-product, post-revenue stage?

The Remarkable Accelerator programs are designed for startups that have launched a product and started generating revenue.

This includes startups with:

• Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in use by customers
• Active sales and a clear revenue model
• Product improvements based on customer feedback
• Evidence of demand and product-market fit

Note: We know MedTech takes longer to reach market. If you're still refining your product or pre-revenue, we still encourage you to apply.

3. Are you ready to scale?

Our Accelerator supports startups that are ready to grow with support from mentors, funding, and our network.

This includes startups with:

• A tech solution that can scale and reach more people
• A business or delivery model that supports growth
• Plans to grow your reach, team, or product features
• A clear vision for long-term impact
• Motivation to grow your startup with the right tools and support

4. Are you ready to commit to an accelerator?

Founders in our program should be prepared to engage and make the most of the experience.

This includes:

• Time and energy to dedicate to the hybrid program 
• Openness to feedback and continuous learning
• Willingness to collaborate with mentors, coaches, and fellow founders
