All applications are welcome, but startups that are post-product, post-revenue will be a better fit for the Accelerator program. However, given their longer path to market, earlier stage medtech startups will also be considered.
If you don’t have an MVP yet or are still working on it, then Launcher, our pre-accelerator program, is better suited for you. Learn more about Launcher here.
Our accelerator program supports startups from across the world. Our networks and experience are strongest in the Australian and the US markets.
If you are based outside Australia and are applying to the Australia+ program, make sure you take into account time zone differences.
Only US startups will be accepted into the US program.
Australia+ Accelerator Program: is open to startups from any country, excluding the US, and works on Australian Eastern Standard Time.
US Accelerator Program: is just for startups who are incorporated in the US, and works on US Eastern Standard Time.
Remarkable Accelerator works with for-profit, for-purpose businesses.
In the US, you need to be registered as a corporation. If you are currently an LLC, should you be accepted, you will need to change your structure before the program starts.
We do not currently accept not-for-profit businesses for our Accelerator program.
No, we are looking for game-changing technologies that have a big impact on all people with disability, including cerebral palsy.
Yes, we love the intersection between disability, aging and health. We look for applicability to the disability sector and we often find that there is quite a bit of overlap with the aged care market.
We will accept applications from individuals and teams. If applying as an individual, please consider how you will continue running your business as well as managing the program commitments.
At least one founder needs to be working full time on the startup.
We ask that startups commit to focusing on participating in the Remarkable Accelerator, and don’t participate in other startup programs at the same time.
The total expected commitment on an average week will be around 7 hours, which will be mostly online. There will be a few in-person events where the required weekly hours will be higher. The weekly agendas will include group programming, coaching, mentor sessions, applicable masterclasses, or heads-down work on a particular area guided by your coach or mentor.
Please note the program will include two to three in-person events. Please refer to the FAQs Key Dates above for program-specific dates.

Yes! After feedback from our startups and community, we revised the name of the program to ‘Australia+’ to better represent our expertise and network access, and the location of the program team, in-person events and timezone. However, Australia+ is still open to startups based globally, outside the US, and we are able to connect startups to our global network.
Applications for our 2025 Accelerator Australia+ and US programs open 9 April 2025.
Applications for our 2025 Accelerator Australia+ and US programs close 15 May 2025.
Please visit the Australia+ and US program pages for program-specific application questions and investment information.
